The update includes a completely renovated bathroom with recycled content tile, an in-wall toilet to save space, a Duravit vanity and, taking advantage of hard-to-reach space, adds ample storage for both the bath and the bedroom. In addition, new partitions give each of the existing bedrooms much needed closets. New hall lighting and paint transform the flat to an urban space with a nod to its historical roots.

The new materials included eco-friendly recycled content floor tile, Ann Sacks tile above the tub, a low-flow dual flush Toto toilet, and new lighting and plumbing fixtures.
