Here’s a small landscape project I did for a client (because isn’t a little San Francisco backyard just like another room?). The existing deck was at an awkward height above grade, so we decided to do away with it completely. With the addition of a low retaining wall and flagstone pavers, the space is a lot more functional for entertaining and provides an unobstructed view of the garden from inside.
