Project Description

My client approached me to talk about a gorgeous property in rural California wine country.  In addition to a farmhouse-style primary residence, the estate boasted acres of land nestled with olive groves, vineyards, farm animals, and pools.  She envisioned renovating an existing structure to serve as the base for future family weddings and a haven where multiple generations of family members could come together for holidays and other celebrations.  Her husband wanted a practice studio for his up-and-coming local band.  We reimagined the building as a multi-purpose space: part vibrant entertaining area, part luxurious guest suite for visiting family.  The elegant yet unfussy bunk room is the envy of any tween, while the kitchen separate from the primary residence is perfect for a midnight snack or a quiet breakfast, providing multiple spaces for large family groups.
